On Saturday October 18th, Moyer Indoor Outdoor participated in the Annual Harleysville Rotary Halloween Parade. The Parade began at the Indian Crest Middle School and proceeded down Maple Ave, Main St, Kulp Rd, and ended at the Community Center on Park Ave in Harleysville. Moyer Indoor Outdoor included one scary pest control in the parade driven by Tom Rissmiller. His wife, Jennifer and their two sons, Jimmy and AJ road along. The vehicle was decorated with spiders and webs. The Moyer Indoor Outdoor truck won 2nd place in the motorized float division for best decorations. Again on Sunday October 26th, Moyer Indoor Outdoor participated in the Annual Quakertown Lions Club Halloween Parade. John Mealing and his son, Christian and daughter, Gabby were on hand to decorate a Pest Control Truck and Jon Blum and his daughter, Faith, decorated the Heat & Air truck with a collection of rats, insects, snakes and webs. The three hour long parade traversed Quakertown Borough and was attended by thousands of spectators. Our own Jim Church emceed the event from the judge’s stand. Halloween Parades are fun for participants and spectators. Moyer Indoor Outdoor is pleased to be able to participate in them. Thanks to the employee volunteers and their families who sacrificed their weekend to make sure that we have a presence in the community. It reflects many core values, including Teamwork and Collaboration, and Serving Our Community. Harleysville parade:
