Moyer Indoor Outdoor participated in the eight annual “Let’s Do Lunch” program through the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce in March. The program involved visiting 7 area 5th grade classes to discuss different types of professions and share their experiences and qualifications with the children.

As a sponsor, Moyer Indoor Outdoor brought Pizza and had Kahari Trawick speak to Franconia Elementary, in Franconia, PA about a career of Transportation Management – Getting Goods Where They Need to Go – With Big Trucks. Kahari spoke on topics of educational requirements, a typical day, and the rewards of being in Transportation Management. While pretending to be a Transportation Manager that delivers candy to the class, one student questioned Kahari, “I’m the Transportation Manager, and I decide I do not want to deliver the candy. Does that mean I get to keep it all?” In past years, Moyer Indoor Outdoor spoke about Information Technology, Running a Retail Store, and Marketing & Advertising.
