Souderton, PA – January 19, 2010 – John D. Moyer, President of Moyer Indoor|Outdoor®, proudly accepted the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce’s 2010 Charles Allebach Community Service Award. The Chamber presented this honor at their 40th annual banquet, which took place on January 9, 2010, at the Indian Valley Country Club in Telford, PA. Moyer Indoor|Outdoor® is committed to making a difference in the community, and the company’s efforts to do so are lead by the giving example of John Moyer.

John’s dedication to the community is visible in support of organizations like the Montgomery Theatre and the Lansdale Center for the Performing Arts. In addition to supporting the arts, the annual Moyer 5k Race and Fit Fest promotes a healthy community, and the money raised from this event goes directly to the Souderton Area High School Cross Country Scholarship Fund. Bill Schwalje, Board Member of The Indian Valley Chamber, supported John Moyer’s nomination, remarking, “In addition to financial support of the community, John devotes so much of his own time and effort back into the community.”
