Moyer Mixer Brings Over 160 to 141 Year-old Campus

Souderton, PA - June 15, 2010 - Moyer Indoor|Outdoor®, a supplier of a myriad of home services and major manufacturer and supplier of pet and animal feeds in the Philadelphia region, hosted a networking event on May 20th with members of the Indian Valley, Penn Suburban, and Greater Philadelphia Chambers of Commerce.

More than 165 local business professionals attended the Moyer Millin’ Around Campus tri-chamber mixer, which was held at the Moyer Indoor|Outdoor® Campus in Souderton, PA. Guests enjoyed a variety of flavors from hors d'oeuvres provided by the Caboose Grill of the nearby Souderton Main Street. Music, played by acoustic guitarist, Don Meyer set the stage for lively conversation in front of the Moyer Store & Feed Mill. As crowds of attendees took tours of the 141 year old mill, many marveled at the step back in time. Moyer’s newly designed vehicles were also on display – an underwater experience with their pool van and a creepy-crawly favorite, the pest car. Attendees were also able to shop The Store at Moyer Indoor|Outdoor®. In fact, Moyer developed a Tri-Chamber Mixer Blend of wild bird food specifically for the event.

“Moyer has long prided itself on strong roots in the areas we serve and is dedicated to active advancement of community,” says Bob Williamson, general manager of Moyer Indoor|Outdoor. “We are proud to have hosted the chamber of commerce mixer because it focuses on local business. As Moyer continues to grow and look toward the future, we plan to hold similar events that promote opportunities within the local business community.”
