March 9, 2009 – Souderton, PA – Moyer Indoor Outdoor is pleased to announce a new manager for The Store, Chris Hines. Prior to joining the Moyer family, Hines worked in a variety of retail environments for the past 22 years. “I think it’s very important to know our customers by face and by name,” Hines says. “That’s the way I like to do business.”

Hines began working at Formal Affairs tuxedo rentals in Hatboro, Pa. The experience, which ignited a passion for retail that stayed with him, also led to his purchasing the store many years later. In addition, Hines worked his way through various positions at H&R Audio Radio, starting in the garage, landing him in inside sales within four years, and worked part time for Colonial Electric for 10 years.

When asked about joining Moyer, Hines said, “I’ve done a lot of different things, but I always come back to retail, where I get a great deal of satisfaction from figuring out what they need and then providing it. Joining up with Moyer, where the customer service philosophy matches my own is a very lucky stroke for me.”
