November 25, 2008 - Souderton, PA - Moyer and Toys for Tots are pleased to announce another successful toy drive for the 2008 holiday season. This year the Moyer employees and their families collected over 150 toys for the children of the Bucks and Montgomery County areas.

Toys for Tots is a program spearheaded by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve with the mission to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December to be distributed as Christmas gifts to needy children throughout the community. For the past 15 years, Moyer employees and their families have been pleased to take part in this worthwhile event.

This year, Staff Sergeant Miller personally thanked David Moyer, Vice President of Moyer, at Moyer's Annual Banquet held at the Indian Valley Country Club for the “Many years of service and dedication the Moyer employees have shown the Marine's Toys for Tots charity.” Said David Moyer of Moyer's involvement in the charity, “ Our involvement in Toys for Tots is a real joy for all our employees. Toys for Tots is something we can all get behind. It not only helps deserving children in our community during this time of year but, it also helps us build a sense of camaraderie in our own community.”

Amy Wilfert, chairperson of the annual Moyer employee banquet also extended thanks to the 250 employees in attendance, “ On behalf of myself and the other banquet committee members Gary McMichael, Suzanne Berninger, and Sherri Senior, I'd like to extend a big thanks to all our employees who donate toys to this worthy cause. Year after year our employees whole heartedly support this campaign and we are moved by their generosity every year.”
