Moyer & Son, Inc. of Souderton, recently acknowledged three 9th grade students from Indian Crest Middle School for their winning t-shirt designs for the Moyer & Son 5k race scheduled for Wednesday, July 12th. The three students’ designs were chosen from over twenty entries in the design competition. Moyer & Son was proud to honor Sean McWilliams, Melissa Smith, and Megan Howe, for their award-winning designs. Each of the winners received gift cards for the Montgomeryville Mall, and one of the winning designs will be printed on the Moyer & Son 5k t-shirt. All of the participants received a gift from Moyer & Son in appreciation for their participation. Ed Cardell, of Moyer& Son Home Services, stated, “Last year the students did a fantastic job with their designs, so we looked forward to doing this again this year—and the results were excellent. “This gives the students and Moyer & Son another opportunity to actively serve our community together,” stated Cardell. All of the 5k race proceeds benefit the Souderton Area School District Moyer & Son Cross Country Scholarship. “We will be honoring two local high school athletes this year with financial scholarships,” stated Cardell. Whether you are an avid runner or just like to get out to exercise, come out to Moyer & Son's 12th annual 5k community run. This year's event will be on Wednesday, July 12 th at 7:00 pm and there will be activities for the entire family to participate in.
