Souderton, PA – May 16th - The 14th annual North Penn Arts Alliance was celebrated at Elm Terrace, in Lansdale, April 24th-26th, 2008, with annual evening awards and special recognition of members on April 25th. There were 140 entries and 39 awards given. Moyer Indoor Outdoor, sponsored the event and Best of Show.

Ed Cardell, Moyer's Marketing Director, emcee of the show, spoke to the event attendees about the importance of arts in the community and the role of the new Lansdale Center for Performing Arts. Said Cardell, “the Center for Performing Arts will play a vital part of the community and further enhance lives.” Also speaking at the event was Jim Church, Community Relations Representative, who spoke briefly about Moyer & Son’s name change to Moyer Indoor Outdoor and presented the Best of Show Award.

The winner of the Best In Show Award was Martin Wigg for his painting “Memories.” Attracting hundreds of artists, local students, friends and family members, to view the work on display, the Art Alliance was buzzing with energy. The artists on display came from all age ranges – kindergarten to seniors – in all mediums: watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, pen & ink, woodcut, mixed media, ceramic, clay, charcoal, pencil and photography.

Moyer Indoor Outdoor has been supporting the arts through the North Penn Arts Alliance for 10 years. Contributing to, and being engrossed within the community is extremely important to Moyer Indoor Outdoor, and this event has proven time and time again to be an enjoyable experience. Moyer Indoor Outdoor is proud to sponsor The North Penn Arts Alliance (NPAA) – a volunteer, non-profit visual arts organization based in Lansdale, Pennsylvania - providing an outlet for preserving and promoting artistic growth and culture in our community.
