Bob Williamson, General Manager Moyer & Son Home Services presented this year's scholarships to Tom Robertson and Jess Joseph, both are graduated seniors from Souderton Area High School.

"While at Souderton, Tom was a two-time State Qualifier, won a District-One Medal, and was a three-time Suburban-One League award winner. He was the team captain and ranked third all time at Souderton in Cross-Country--it was great to honor him for these achievements," stated Williamson.

Jess is planning on continuing her running career at West Chester University this fall. "Jess participated on the Varsity Track and Cross-Country teams for four years, lettered in all eight seasons and was elected co-captain for both teams. In track & field, she was the 2005 Continental League 3200 meter champion and has the meet record for that event. She was also a three-time district qualifier. Jess's accomplishments made her a clear choice for this years scholarship," stated Williamson.

This is the third year that Moyer & Son awarded the Cross-Country Scholarships that are funded through the proceeds of the Moyer & Son 5K Race. "We hope to have a great turn out for this year's Moyer & Son 5K so that we can continue to help students like Tom and Jess in the years to come," stated Williamson.
