On the 23rd of September, I had the privilege of representing Moyer and Son Home Services in Franconia's 275th Anniversary Parade. This was the eighth parade I have driven in. You may ask, "Why have I been in so many parades?" The answer is simple-"It's Fun!"

First, we get to decorate the Moyer & Son white trucks. It's green and red bows during the Christmas Holidays, and American flags and buntings on the Fourth of July. For my favorite time of the year, Halloween, we decorate the Pest Control truck with spiders, rats, bats, and cobwebs. The reaction of the crowd when they see the Halloween decorations is hilarious.

Second, I get to share the ride with my sons, Brian and Jimmy. It is great because it shows that Moyer and Son is a real family company. I look forward to the future when my youngest son, A.J. is old enough to ride in the parades and then my wife, Jennifer, can join us.

So, when you hear about the next parade, come on out and see how we've decorated the truck and who's riding with me.
