Employees and family members lined the aisles under the Big Top at the 3 rd Annual Moyer & Son Employee Health Fair on Thursday, May 11, 2006. Participants were encouraged to take advantage of the health fair, and participate in various screenings and tests. Osteoporosis screenings were given by Lehigh Valley Diagnostic Imaging, cholesterol tests were given by St. Luke's Hospital, and blood pressure tests were given by Indian Valley Family YMCA. These were a few among the 14 local and health and safety organizations represented.

Prize drawings were held throughout the event for various door prizes, and Chris Warren, MHS Lawn Care Sales Representative, was the proud winner of the GRAND PRIZE of $250 in Peddler's Village Gift Card's, donated by National Penn Insurance. Plus, as an added bonus, many were able to enjoy the total relaxation of a seated massage given by Trisha Isaak.

"Our health fair has proved to be an effective and increasingly popular way to provide valuable health information and screening services to a large number of our employees and their families in a convenient "one-stop shop" format," explained John Moyer, Moyer & Son President. "We make this available during a work day to encourage participation as well as uphold a core value at Moyer & Son of being employee-centered," remarked John Moyer.
