If you’ve traveled down Main Street in Souderton lately, you have noticed the renovations underway from Chestnut St. to Hillside Ave—all part of the ongoing efforts to revitalize downtown Souderton. This ongoing revitalization project includes new lighting, walkways, curbing, parking areas, and landscaping.

Moyer & Son has been contracted by Souderton Borough to install of a drip irrigation system for the lamppost hanging baskets, raised beds surrounding the lampposts, as well as the trees that are being planted in the Main Street streetscape project.

“We are thankful to have the opportunity to help serve and better our community in this revitalization project,” stated Tim Zepp, Lawn Irrigation Supervisor at Moyer & Son. “The addition of the irrigation system is vital in creating and maintaining beautiful flowers and the surrounding landscapes throughout the spring, summer, and fall seasons,” stated Zepp. “This is going to be a beautiful area for members of our community and the local business owners along Main Street.”

The total project is going to be done in phases and is expected to be completed in the spring of 2007.
