The 13th annual Memberís Exhibition of the North Penn Arts Alliance was held at Elm Terrace in Lansdale, concluding on Saturday, April 28th.  On Friday, April 27th, awards and special recognition to the participating artists were made. Among the awards was the prized, Best of Show Award, which was sponsored by Moyer & Son Inc.

This yearís recipient of the Best of Show award was Susannah Hart Thomas, for her watercolor painting entitled "Country Rock." Jim Church, Community Relations Representative for Moyer & Son, Inc. made this presentation during the artistís reception.

The Members' Exhibition hosted yet another year of creative entries viewed by hundreds of local residents, family members and friends of the artists.  Student artists, ranging in age from kindergarten through 12th grade, also had their work on display. All together more than 135 pieces were on display. The artwork included a broad range of mediums; watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, pen & ink, woodcut, mixed media, ceramic, clay, charcoal, pencil and photography.

Moyer & Son has been of supporting the arts through the North Penn Art Alliance for almost 10 years.  Contributing to, and being engrossed within the community is extremely important to Moyer & Son, and this event has proven time and time again to be an enjoyable experience.  Moyer & Son is proud to sponsor The North Penn Arts Alliance (NPAA) – a volunteer, non-profit visual arts organization based in Lansdale, Pennsylvania-providing an outlet for preserving and promoting artistic growth and culture in our community.
