On Friday night October 5th, the annual Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce Corporate Volleyball Tournament toke place at the Souderton Area High School gymnasium. Moyer & Son once again presented a powerhouse team, including the HVAC Vigil brothers Cory and Thad along with Vigil sisters Priscilla and Tiffany. Our team also included Art Landis from the HVAC group, and Jeremy Weaver from Pet & Animal Feeds.

The tournament began with Moyer & Son facing off against Landis Markets (three time champions – including last year). We took the first victory in an overtime match but dropped the second match in a close 13 to 15 loss. In the second round the Moyer & Son team went up against Baum, Smith & Clemens who handed us two decisive losses. The final round however, saw an impressive turn around with two wins over first place Bergey’s. The end result was a set of three-and-three records for the entire first bracket. Points decided the round and when the totals came out, both Landis Supermarket and Moyer & Son had been eliminated.

Moyer & Son is proud to continue to support the event with all of the proceeds including registration fees and refreshment sales benefiting Indian Valley Housing Corporation.
